We Kirk is our special children’s ministry for grades kindergarten through sixth grade.  During We Kirk on Sunday mornings we attend the Ora and Helen Symonds Memorial Chapel located on the 2nd floor of the First Presbyterian Church.  This chapel was built especially for the children. During our Sunday morning service we hear a story from the bible followed by a very popular and lively discussion of the story.   Our story most often includes props to reiterate the meaning of the story or how it is played out in our daily lives.  We pray for our loved ones, our church family and those around the world.  We also sing and sway to moving Christian music. We Kirk on Wednesday evening involves a special craft.  The craft may involve a take-home project or a mission project.  Mission may be decorating the church dining hall for Super Wednesday dinner, decorating the church walls with a We Kirk project, making a craft to be taken to the home-bound or sending a special greeting card to someone who needs to know that the We Kirk children care.  We Kirk is a fun-filled, bible-spirited time!!  Come join us...  we welcome all.
